Thinking about Selling G and Getting a S2000

I think i made up my mind, I test drove the S2k, and it was so quick and nimble only weighing about 2850, handles like a dream and feels like a true sports car. The G is to heavy I think it handles like a Big Slug. I think sports cars shouldnt weigh more than 3100 pounds because than they lose handling and light touch abilities, I was really in love with the S2K, plus the tranmission was so smooth conpared that of the G, dont get me wrong I like the G, but it just doesnt seem like right car to be driven fast.

Good, that's why the G35 coupe is not a sports car. It is a luxury sports car

I think thats a good call - IF, u are short, dont need a backseat, have another car, and dont mind giving up some creature comforts...

Ive always been a fan of the S2K, but since im 6'4", only can afford one car, and always have video equip to lug around, i need the G.

Have Fun - Both are great cars!

i know when i bought this car i didnt think the luxury would bother me as it does, i need fun cars, and the G seems to me like a better car in a 5AT, 6mt is not for G thats what the 350Z is for. *puts flame suit on*

I say go for it. I've always loved that little screamin' mimi of a ride... ...but then again I think the sound of a sportbike engine above 7K RPM is addictive.

If I didn't need a car with a backseat (for emergencies... ...I have a wife and 2 kids), then I'd already have a well-modified S2000 sitting in my garage.

It might not be the fastest, but as far as sports cars go, it's a damn fine offering. Just get a hardtop to rectify that silly convertible thing. lol I'm a hardtop guy. Never cared for convertibles.

i know what i mean, i was never into convertibles, but something about fast convertibles I do like, its easier to holler at the ladies you know, Sometimes just nice plus I love the VTEC feel I use to have a prelude SH< once you go Honda you can never go back LOL

If I could do it all over again, I probably would have gotten the s2k first, then end up with a G35C when the kid comes in 4-5 years.

Now, I won't be able to get a 2 seater for a good 15 or more years with plans for a family coming up. =*(

Just wondering why you got a G35 instead of a 350z in the first place if the -2 seats isn't an issue to you? Not trying to bash you, S2000 is a really nice car, just curious.
