taking off emblems

Hey guys
What is the proper way to take off the back "G35" and "INFINITI" emblems? Do I just yank them off?

Every way possible sucks. Just pry 'em off one at a time, and then work the goo off a little at a time. Polish and wax when finished. It's just a tedious job.

Do a search for more ideas. I wouldn't "pry" anything.
A hairdryer and monofiliment (fishingline) helps too.

You're right, I just meant pry as in a generic term for "take em off however you see best."

what i used was dental floss (you'll break it a few times taking the letters off)

then i put lighter fluid on the rest of the adhesive backing left over and let it soak then peeled it off with my finger nail

hit it with some soap and water when your done, wax it, and its good as new
