I got 6 layers of Zaino Z2 Pro on there. Do you think after a certain point it doesn't make a difference?

do you really think 6 layers is necessary? I think it looks the same as my G when cleaned.

Don't get me wrong, I like zaino too, though I have researched a lot and found that it is no better than most wax, just hyped through the roof. Currently I don't have any layers on but I will be putting 1 on soon, which IMHO is enough for 6 months.

You may have researched, but I have actually tried 6 different waxes and none of them last as long as Zaino.

I think Andy over at my350z has the record for # of layers of Zaino. He was in the low double digits! Something like 24-32 coats on his Brickyard Z.

BlackonBlackG35 your car looks like Glass.

Did you use an orbital buffer or was it all by hand?

I have never tried Zaino and my car is due for a wax job.

Zaino is a polish so I'd suggest waxing over it so that way it pretty much has a force field to protect your paint. Glaze if desired

looks great. i used 5 coats (2 of the Z5) and i think that was enough. i have BS though so you'd probably see a better difference after more coats. but i think you're good with the 6 coats

a couple things:

that is one exceptionally clean car. But whats with the dirty wiper and black plastic area below the windshield? (just kidding.)

I personally use klasse (all in one, and the high concentrate). It's easy, lasts long, and is not very expensive. Zaino has too many steps for a lazy *** like myself.

Zaino is a polish/sealant and doesnt bond well with other products.

Hey Blk you car looks great! You should come out for the Rally on July 2nd so we can see how it shines in person! By the way did you use your PC when applying Zaino. I'm thinking about trying that stuff.
