mud flaps and side molding on coupe
Anybody get the mud flaps or body molding? I dont think Ive seen a picture of the coupe with either of these. I have mud flaps on my present car and they look fine but I dont think they really do anything.
The only way I would consider the body molding would be if it would actually save my door from a ding.
Any experiences or opinions?

What color is your coupe...? The only one I've seen w/ the mudguards has been a BS Coupe (like mine)...and the color didn't seem to be the same as the rest of the car...made me pass on them...but they may look cool on different colors.

Personally, I wouldn't put a wind deflector on my car. I don't think you really need one since there isn't much noise or wind when the sunroof is open. Besides if you have the aero kit which lowers the drag coeff to 0.28, the wind deflector will likely raise the number up. But if you like the look with it, go for it.

Re: mud flaps and side molding on coupe
I think they look nice, I'm glad I got to see them on a dp coupe. I was gonna order them with my dp coupe but they are a "port installed" option so it's not like they are painted with the car...and I HAVE seen a problem with the paint on the mud flaps. The nissan dealer near me has a white z with the mud flaps and the color is so off it makes the car look terrible. They are more yellow and dull then the car's paint.
I'm gonna wait till the car gets in. A good dealer should agree to send the guards back if you hold them to the car before the install and you don't like them. Same with the molding.
Does anyone know if you can remove them after they are installed?

Re: mud flaps and side molding on coupe
I think I like the car better without either the mud flaps or the side molding. I dont dislike them so if they provided a practical function I might get them. I think its questionable if either of these options would actually accomplish anything.
The wind deflector may be a good idea if you drive a lot of highway miles as I do. I have a sunroof in my current car and I rarely use it due to the wind noise (I dont have a deflector). I dont intend on getting a sunroof as I dont use the one I have and it creates cabin noise even when its closed (At least in my accord it does - glass is just not as quite as a full roof). Plus I am 6' 4".

Here's a picture showing both. During our rainy season, just North of San Francisco, we really need the mud flaps. The body side molding provides some protection when it is not possible to find a protective parking spot.

Here a kinda blurry pic of white w/ mud guards. I agree...the pin stripe with the addition of the molding makes the car look a little too 'busy'. The car above looks very 'busy' with the molding and the wind deflector as well......
