lol, well since no one else said it, congratulations on your approval.... sounds like you'll be gettin that G.
as for the issue of 4.99%, there is no way to know if that is good or bad without knowing ALL the particulars of your deal: location, credit, downpayment, etc. There are some lower rates available, but i would bet that lots of people are paying more as well.

My 03 G35C 6MT fully loaded (minus nav) plus tax and all that misc paper work and fees came out to a hair under $39k. I put $5k down, and financed $34k through Chase at 3.49% privately. The dealership was qouting me rates between 4.5% and 6% one qoute through the SAME BANK!
What many people DONT know is when you get financing through a dealer, they quite often add anywhere from .5% to upwards and over 2% on top of the quote they got from the lender (bank) and they make some $$$ of ya. This is something they negotiate through banks, and you're left in the dark. It's a very common practice, so before you sign away at anything, NEGOTIATE! Open your mouth and ASK! Is this the best rate, what if anything does the dealership take from this, kick backs and so on. You'll be surprised how quick that rate can change once they know you're an educated buyer. Make them work for you, not the other way around.

I got 4.14% on $35,000 for 60 months. I even talked this guy down $1,000 for my coupe that he had in stock. If any of you know someone who is waiting for one, or considering waiting for one, let me know and I will tell them how I did it. Pretty smooth if you ask me......OK the downside is I had to drive to Burmingham AL from Chicago.....but hey, beats paying MSRP and waiting 4 months!
