Whats ur opinion on rebadging to Nissan

I have skyline and 350gt emblems and want to kno if U personally would also rebadge to the nissan rear emblem and front grille pop-in emblem and why or why not

Also, if i wanna change back to the Mt. Fuji emblem, what kind of adhesive is used to stick it back on?

Re: Whats ur opinion on rebadging to Nissan

I wouldn't change the front emblem to the Nissan. I like Mt Fuji over Nissan in front.

The Skyline and 350GT look great in the back.

Don't change anything, you've got the look right.

Re: Whats ur opinion on rebadging to Nissan

I think they just use some type of industrial grade double sided foam tape from 3M. My opinion is no emblems except the Mt. Fuji. That's just me though. Also if you are gonna do the Skyline "theme" then you should (in my opinion) match everything exactly to the car from japan. Doesn't make much sense to me to have SKyline lettering and an Infiniti Badge. After all in japan it's all Nissan. Just my thoughts. Peace.

Just get rid of the Infiniti Bug on the rear. Makes it look clean. Here is my setup:

My take is that if you live in the US and the US offers the INFINITI G35, why put the lessor Japanese Nissan symbols on? It'd be like an Acura owner putting Honda badges on his car. What's the point.

Re: Whats ur opinion on rebadging to Nissan

Well, i have the skyline and 350gt emblems but with the infiniti logo's in the front and rear. im going to change the rear logo only though. but i changed it cause i wanted to go JDM again like my other car. and as you know you cant go JDM with a infiniti badge.

as for the adhesive, they have stronger 3M double sided tape out there if you want to put it back on. stronger than the one stock ones.

Re: Whats ur opinion on rebadging to Nissan

Yup, we're in the North American market. As far as I know, that means Infiniti G35. No offense or anything, but why degrade our cars to a Nissan? Why do as the boy ricers do?

Re: Whats ur opinion on rebadging to Nissan

That's the reason why I didn't put any Nissan Badges on my car.

Also when I think of V35 Skyline, I think of more a performance car. When I hear G35, I think of the sedan or an upgraded G20.

We are not fooling anyone. But everyone has their own opinion...
