Re: "Slip" light
Ditto.
Stop light, right or left turn, step on gas, chirrrrp..., <blink><font color=white>Slip</font color=white></blink> and gas is "throttled". Does seem to happen more on hot days.
Enter tight, diminishing radius, on/off ramp at 40+mph and chances are high for <blink><font color=white>Slip</font color=white></blink> and a pulse to the outside front brake because of detected understeer. Turn VDC off and same on/off ramp can be taken at ~60mph with a little squeal from the outside front tire as it starts to understeer.
Only oversteer I can get is when I attack a turn with a extreme yank & bank that cuts the rear loose before the front pushes through the apex. If the VDC is on it will pulse the outside rear brake when the rear cuts loose.
Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S; 245/40W18 front; 255/40W18 front; When I get my iForged wheels, I'm moving the 255/40W18 tires to the front and putting 275/40W18 tires (same brand) on the rear. I'm hoping this will help with the "push" through the apex and the "chirp" on takeoff. (I've got my doubts about any improvement in the "push". The larger stagger may override any traction improvement the wider front tires will give me.)

Re: "Slip" light
Yeah, lots of oversteer, basically when you punch it on a turn, the rear wheels will slip and cause the car to turn more than it should, hence: oversteer
Understeer occurs with FWD cars because the front wheels are turning and slipping at the same time so you just go straight.

Re: "Slip" light
this car is set up for moderate understeer
if you notice yourself having to apply gas during a curve to bring the nose back to the line you are keeping, that is understeer. now as far as breaking the back end free that is "power oversteer" (i think that is the right term) and only happens when you apply excessive gas.
neither of these is the fastest way thru a turn. the best way is to drift (neutral balance) thru a turn -- all four wheels sliding.
sway bars, stb's and lowering help.
car and driver called it "moderate" understeer in their slalom tests which is a little more severe than "mild"
