I'd say enjoy it for at least 2 years. I don't think there will be a redesign in 07. If so it will be the sedan and then the coupe in 08. But I think it will be more of an 08/09 redesign. Just seems too early.

so you're saying 75% of 03-04 6MT coupe owners are color blind and cant tell gold from gray, or dumb that they can't read b-r-e-m-b-o on their brakes.

I would be pretty ticked if I just bought an 05 and this extra list of goodies came out.
I was ready to buy an 04 but heard about the changes for '05 and waited. I would've liked to have the brembo option, in all honesty. But I had to have the upgraded interior and the motorized steering wheel adjustment. Those two things made me wonder what Infiniti was thinking. The horsepower gain, rpm jump, 19's, lighted steering controls, MP3+WMA addition were all nice features, but I could've lived without since I like the '04 wheels, etc...

But honestly, all G's are so stylish. As long as you enjoy it.....

HaHa, Exactly. You are blind to see that most of the drivers dont even care or dont even notice. Especially since most of the demographic that buys Infiniti cant even tell you how much horsepower they have.

Some of them dont even know they have RWD.

I think the styling on the coupe is way ahead of anything out there...no need to redesign a good design, until it starts to look old. I think the jump between 04-05 is much greater than the jump from 05-06...but then again, lets see that rear spoiler...ha, i just love the interior f the 05, that aluminum trim make all the difference in the world to me.

Personally, my biggest regret is the 18hp increase the '05 models got over the '04s and 19" forged rays. If that were the case in '04 when I bought, I would've definitely opted for the 6mt.

Seeing as there are no hp increases for '06, bluetooth and intelligent key aren't that big a deal to me personally. Also, someone made a good point about the rear wheel steering possibly being tuned to expect stock wheels. I mean will it work the same if someone mounts 19x10.5s?

there's a cozy little cottage industry for disabling HICAS on 240s and 300Z TTs.

Plus, lots of info on trying to diagnose the various things that go wrong with HICAS (both hydraulic and electric -what we'll have) on the web. I can only imagine what it will be like if its intergated with the VDC sensors. yikes $$$$

the last 2 statements could probably apply to the whole G community, but when ppl buy the 6MT, he most likely knows or researched further what he's getting into

Bro, that's for a bluetooth headset. Bluetooth is the wireless technology that enables connectivity between your bluetooth enabled phone and other gadgets (like headsets OR your car). You don't wear the headset when you're in your car. The car's bluetooth hooks up to the phone in your pocket automatically and you hear calls coming through the stereo speakers and simply talk to have a phone conversation.

Do you have a G? Please no....

Well I would say atleast keep a car 4 or 5 years before trading it in. Its not worth wasting all that money on something you just spent so much on. There will always be something better and newer coming out. You can't just keep throwing away money and getting the best. Just live with what you got and be happy.

+1 Very well said. As long as you enjoy it. That's the point. I love my 04 G

even though it's AT. I've been thinking about getting 6mt but I didn't. cuz I

still enjoy my 5AT with Tiptronic Would have been nicer if I got the 6MT

though

Change is change....it happens with every car, every year. Makes you want to trade your old car for the new model, and take a bath while your at it..

Each year for the most part, our cars have minor changes, sometimes well received, sometimes not....its all about marketing and keeping the customers coming in and coming back.....

Would I like the new Headlights, yes, but I still like the clearance strip light.....

I still like the 04 18" wheels better than anything out there, even most aftermarket wheels....but thats just me.

Do I want memory seats? Why would I. No one, and I mean no one drives my car, let alone climb in the back seat from my side....I have my rules.

Spoilers come, spoilers go. I wouldn't mind having one, but It wasn't that important for me to change my order......

Bluetooth......if I want bluetooth, I'll eat some skittles....j/k

Intelligent key..........another electronic marvel/nightmare..

Point is, the car is going to evolve. Thats what car manufacturers do. Change is important to drive their business......

If you have the money, trade in your car each year, and have the best of both worlds....

Me, I think I'll be keeping my 04 for a long time thank you....
