6 speeds now super rare to buy?
So I am in the Chicago land area and I have contacted numerous Infiniti dealers who tell me the same thing: "Oh the 6 speeds or soooo rare- we're sold out or we have this ugly color with satellite radio" What the f*K, I gotz the 40k, where can I find my G? Anybody in the Chicago area have any luck tracking down a 6 speed, and if so can you provide what dealership it was. Does anyone know if the factory is still spitting out 2005 6 speeds? Thanks!

Try searching on Infiniti.com.
Otherwise if you're stuck ordering one, at this point I agree its best to just wait for an 06.

Ok, so I qouted 38,650 for a 05 6 speed with aero package, premium package, navigation, Sirius, splash guards and a trunk mat, that would be available in early September. Additionally, I was informed the first 06 orders are taking place in early August with an approx. 3 month wait time after that. Any suggestions?

I was quoted 650 over invoice for an 06 6mt coupe here in san diego. I'm going in this weekend to leave the deposit.
If there are non in chicago, get on the net and find one withing 100 miles of you. Call and ask to speak to the fleet manager, tell them exactly what you want (color options, etc) nothing more nothing less. Tell them you have your money ready and want to pick-up today, and you want his best price. Make sure he knows you don't want to test drive, or mess with salesmen. You want to walk in, sign papers, and leave. THAT'S IT. Trust dealers love this, they do no work and make the sale. Do this to 3 or 4 dealers and then have them outbid themselves. That's what I did for the 06. BTW, when i did it for the 05 I got 150 over invoice.
