It may very well be a safety issue, but that would be stupid since they let you roll up the windows with one click of a button (inside the car) and they let you close the sunroof with one click of a button (inside the car). For neither action do you have to hold down the button until they are closed.
I would think actions INSIDE the car would be more important than automatically rolling the windows up from 20 yards away.

I almost always vent my windows while walking to the car. On a sunny day the black leather heats up really quick.
I am not sure why the feature wasn't included from the factory. The allow the 'one up' feature from inside the car because of the sophisicated anti pinch system that the windows have. I'm not sure why this system wasn't sophiscticated enough to allow remote closure. With the KPtechnologies module the anti-pinch system still works when remotely closing.
