Tein hood dampers

So I am seeing that tein has released the hood dampers for the G and was wondering if anyone has installed them and how people feel about them. Does it seem like the pressure is too much for the hood? any comments would be appreciated. did a search, and found results pre-release of the tein struts.

Where do you see that?
On their web site only the 350Z is listed.
If you're thinking the Skyline.. that's the GT-R not our cars.

It's funny that web site isn't up to date.
They used to list Infiniti as future, now it's not there at all.

....unless I'm missing something

Here's the web Link
Application chart is down the bottom.

Even the Japanese site doesn't list it for the CPV35 Skyline. I'm supposed to get my Top Secret hood dampers today. I'll post pics after I get them installed. I know there were overpriced :P

I bought the Z ones and made them work with the G, I think I was the first. If you search you will find a thread that I made about fitting them

It holds the hood open instead of using the hood rod.

Ok, yeah my 86 300zx has them, but my 05 G35 does not. Kind of wack and they don't really wear out (original ones still on my Z)....must be a cost cutting reason that they were not used.
