My 05 dynoed 253 hp and 231 tq stock.

Basically equal with the 05 being faster period and the same TQ.
Yada yada yada, here go the numbers again... I'm talking about pulling up on the side of my 04 in an 05, so why can't they pull away? Numbers mean nothing when your ahead of the challenging car... I've never dyno'd my car, could care less at this time, all I know is, the same car, but 05 with CAI just like mine, cannot pull ahead, like I said, we've been playing around a couple of months.

Nissan would not go backwards on designing a great car and make it inferior to the previous year.
I need to prove nothing, but you can bring your 05 down here if you wanna try my 04, your welcome to stay and try all you want to prove to yourself if it makes you feel better. Been there, done it many times.

A 350z had Brembo brake problems after 3-4 runs at the autox 2 events ago. I had my 05 and did all the runs without a problem. His were squealing like mad, and the tech people asked him to not run again till he fixed the problem. Found out his pads were glazed badly.

They are no smoother than our 05 brakes.
Maybe the pads were worn before the runs, and IMO, they are smoother... Dang some of you 05 owners are on the defensive big time!

Oh what the hell, that looks more like an 05 then 04 with the 05 Rims And really, if you change out the Rims to, say Volks, they both almost look identical. So, yes, that car looks good, especially with the 05 rims and Diamond Graphite (btw, that was also a nice selling point having the new rims on the 05's for me)

Oh, stop being a hypocrite. You've been defending the 03-04's all through this thread. And really, neither one of use should be defending our cars. Maybe we have our reasons for chosing the Model Year that we did, but let's not stoop down to the 350Z levels here! All the Model Years have nice features. What we like is different from what another person likes. In all honesty, I would only consider the opions of the people that had the option of buying both cars and chose one over the other or the people that bought one and traded it for the other (although, I have yet to read about one 05 owner trading for an 03-04). All other opinions are really more of defensive statements and a lot less of "This is the reason why I bought xxxx Model".

When I bought mine in Mid July, I was offered Both Models and decided on the 05's for the reasons I stated above. Anywho, Let's just have some fun with our cars instead of bashing each other

Who are you calling hypocrite? If that was directed to me, you go back and read how I said all G's are beautifull many times... I'm holding out for 08, for tax reasons, I buy a new car every 4 years so maybe it could possibly be an 09, depends whether I like the 08 better like I did the 04 instead of the 05... It was my choice, just as it was yours to buy the 05, I feel I have the better car, you feel you do... I'm glad to have posted so much in this thread, it needed to be done, but I will stop soon, I feel my point has been made... I just got tired of hearing how much better the 05 is when I actually had a choice and chose the 04... By the time 4 years pass this G will have allot of miles and hopefully will have served me well.

and i ddnt know that the 05 exhaust was diff than the 03-04 where does it say that?

There have been a few articles, and I even think SportZ magazine was one. The internals were changed and they made some parts stronger to withstand the extra rev limit.

The exhaust system is completely different from the 03-04. It's pretty obvious. Go sit in a 05 and start it up and listen. You will see what I mean.

That's a very strong statement, and may be true, but it's a little early to make such a general statement without future revup mod successes like the motordyne.

Trey, you have to understand I have seen a lot of the tests already that you all have not. I have seen cars with mods and this mod and they are producing a ton of power that no 03-04 has touched yet on a dyno.

The 05 sedan exhaust is louder not quieter over the 03-04. I had a 04 and you couldn't even hear the exhaust. The 05 you can hear it. It has a nice deep growl to it.

Okay, if numbers mean nothing, then why are you arguing that the 05 has less TQ? I mean come on now.

Please prove to me otherwise that the 05 is a less of a car over the 03-04? I owned both cars you haven't. I want to see documented data on this. Not your opinion.
