Ecu Reset For 06

I've been trying to reset the ECU but it doesn't seem to work......i did it like 20 times...wait 3 seconds, press and release 5 times hard, wait 7 secs, press and hold for 10 secs (lights start blinking), let go for 10 secs, press and hold for more than 10(service light blinks a little faster), let go....Service light still blinking....turn off and restart.......doesnt work b/c the radio presets are still there and if it did work, then it shouldn't be right?

The radio station presets will still be there unless you do the disconnect the battery for 12 hours method. If the check engine light does the blinky thing per the directions then you have reset the ecu. There is also a method where you touch the neg and positive battery connectors together for a few seconds. (you will want to disconnect both connectors from their battery terminals before touching them)

Nooooo, you don't lose the radio presets with the pedal method. Only with the battery disconnect method. You're good to go.
