I may own a G35 Coupe, fly by cars, but dang BMW's have the most toy's in it's pkg grrrrr sorry just jealous of all those nice little feature's my bud has in his 330ci hehehehe.. I told my bud all he needs is a pillow and he'd live in his 330ci for the price he paid for it...

 

Had a Wrangler too (TJ). When I sold it I missed waving at everyone. It's a Jeep thing.

Not trying to bring the post down but I had a Beemer ace me at 70 and as he switched lanes I knew he was gonna gun it...So I in turn also floored the G till about 90. To my dismay he just pulled away once we hit the 80-85 mph mark...

Couldn't keep up and no it wasn't a M3.

Yeah 330i should be no prob at 90. I eat these guys around philly with 330s and 325s all the time. Most really wont try to race but some are ithcin to get ya cuz they know the power of the G baby...I passed one after i realized i was being challeneged just the other day. But he may have the automatic which, while smoother than glass, is a drag in 330 power compared to manual. You might lose to the new 235 HP 6 speed but, that just came out. The next G option will have 320 HP I would think....then we will all have obsolete cars as far as the HP wars are concerened.

 

The thing is, a 330 and a G35 are fairly evenly matched. In a street race, with both cars starting at different speeds.. say 70 v. 75.. the one already going faster will probably win. You can't make up the starting gap unless you have a very large power advantage.
