I recommend H&R springs, but I'm not sure what vendors/stores carry springs for our model anymore. If you do choose to lower your car on springs, I am selling my custom KONI shocks built by TrueChoice for a reasonable price. These paired up with springs make a comfy/sport ride.

Actually there's a few used
aftermarket springs for sale in the SoCal area on craigslist. (Tien s-tech). Even 350z lowering springs fit fine. It's really about how low and comfort of ride you want.

I found some D2 racing RS coils for the 03-08 x on ebay and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them quality and fitment wise. Has anyone ran them? I searched for them And didnt find anythin on here. Or does anyone know any good coils that are still made around 1-1.5k$. I have a 05x

Haven't heard any complaints fitment wise, but quality seems to be hit or miss.

I'm lowered on BC BR coils. I would recommend them. Although, I would not recommend going too low. You can go low but just don't go crazy as you will hit practically everything being that the front sits lower than the RWD.

I have not posted in awhile.. Dropped on Megan Coils, I've had them on for two years probably 7,000 miles - no issues. I would definitely not go lower than where I am currently at as avoiding pot holes in Chicago is challenging enough...

I have the same car and used H&R springs. Lowered 1.5" front and 1.75" back. You don't want to lower more than that - the underside will bottom out and hit speed bumps, steep driveways, potholes, etc., even with the H&R's. (not to mention, you will wear out your other suspension parts faster (bearings, CVs, bushings, tires, shocks)
I had these springs on for about a year, but replaced them with G35 coupe springs because the drop was too severe for me. Now I have a mild drop but much more comfortable ride and I think the handling and steering is better with the OEM coupe (or sedan) springs.

My 05 G35x is lowered on Tein S-Tech (green ones). 1.5 in drop and now I'm going after new shocks. Still has the OEM shocks on it. Steering response is 100 times better. Feels like I'm on rails compared to the OEM springs.

Anything lower though and there would be more rubbin than a 14 year old boy left alone with high speed internet.
