Does lowering the car put more stress on the OEM shocks?

Absolutely. That's why the RWD sedan with sport package & shorter springs have different shocks & struts. Most likely also why Kazaam35x needs new ones.

To me, lowering a X is more trouble than it's worth
Everything's so much easier with a coupe or RWD sedan

Rather than all of us sending koni shocks individually why don't we get together and tell them to actually produce something? Even start writing other companies. We need to get a list of names, location, etc together and a nice letter written to submit to these companies. SOMEONE will see a chance to make a buck and start producing what we need.

^^^ Koni will not mass produce the shocks due to resale. Not large enough of a market for this. I've had mine for about 1.5 years now I did blow one side out but Koni did fit them. The cost is alot but well worth it.

We need a good list of 15-20 of us, names + some form of contact that we can send these companies showing there is interest in the product. 15 people is $25,000-$30,000 for the company, it might make them more interested.

The issue now is when 1-2 people contact them they feel there isn't much interest, but if we can get 15 or so, it might improve our chances that much more.

I know it's wishful thinking, but it's worth a shot at this point as I really don't want to send struts to Koni for a revalve, I want adjustable coilovers for $2000.

If anyone is interested in this, lets get it going.

I'v waited long enough to post, usuall i'm just a reader, but I WANT SOME DAMN full shock towers made for the 2005-2006 g35x sedan ! I will put my name down for the list of people needing the full set developed. My understanding is we can buy a full (expensive) set for the RWD sedan, but only use the rear shocks, and have a useless front half set of aftermarket towers... so we need to have them combine a set to match front and rear for the x's..... oh PLEASE make this happen people! i have 60k on my 06 which i bought new, and just bought the H&R springs, but am worried now you said it wears down OEM shocks....

i called them to confirm and left a message....it does say X and by the look of the pic. the fronts don't have the bottom hooks like the regular G35...so this might be legit.....hope so. If this is legit im just gonna hold on to the G35X factory shocks i was gonna send to koni.
