na, the angle. dropped on H&R with koni sports. i wish i took a picture of what the car looked like before the ride to the mountain. we got hit with a little ice rain at night. the whole front end was covered in almost 2 inch thick ice. that shot is two days later when it was just all snow.Originally Posted by FlyingLumpia
Wow. Nice shot. Is it the angle of the car, because its looks like you are running staggered. I forgot what you are dropped on too.

What's up guys, I thought I made my decision on which springs to buy. After further research I think I'm going to go with revised Z fronts/G-coupe rears (sport). Originally i was going to go with the Eibach Pro Kit.
My question is, does it matter if I get the G-coupe sports or non sport for the rears? How's the ride quality with this setup? I know getting the G-coupe rears would give it more of a even drop, since the front fender has a higher cut than the rear.
Also how about throwing all four G-Coupe(sport) springs on? These springs are from an 07 coupe, my G35x is an 04. Will this be the same as a 350z revised drop?
I know, I know, this was probably covered throughout these 69 pages but I can't go through this whole thread again.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Where the hell can I get a set of front struts for a 2005 g35x that will not destroy my bank account?

! (I have Milano's for spring/summer/fall). Nice ride/setup!Registered User
For those on H&R springs and stock shocks can you bounce the front of your car (when it's parked). Trying to figure out if my fronts shocks are bad. My rears go down when I push it down and comes back up nice and easy but my front does not even move when I push on it.

Have you lost any of your clear coat on the lip? I have a few parts on mine where it's chipping off in spots. Nothing major, but not sure why it's happened.

yea, i had the rims for 3 years now, so the clear coat on all 4 rims is starting to chip. not to bad, but its noticalbe. reason why i kept them on this winter.
i just cant keep up with my car cleaness. my job does not alow it. i can only keep my car clean on the weekends when i get a wash, but as soon as i go to work on monday, its done deals.

gonna wash the car today, need to get all atht salt, dirt, off my car. its already going on almost 2 months without a wash. ( in VT snow every weekend. almost pointless =/)
i'll take some pics in diffrent angles with the rack. seems like alot of people like it, and i do get asked frequently when i'm out and about by other G drivers.
got it at Ski Barn. i'm located in Jersey. but i beleive Thule site will have every you need to get the kit. ran me a little under $400 i beleive. Front flare is a must if u get a rack. so much more noise without it.

Exactly! I'm going snowboarding tomorrow and man I wish I had a nice rack, but the G can stay home in the garage and the Truck with the racks on top Originally Posted by Wannabe6MT

, I'm really diggin' that rack, is it Thule the only one that makes it for our cars? or does Yakima have it as well?Registered User
Yakima makes them too - I have just the basic Q towers and load bars and the snowboard racks. There's also this other brand by Carmate that makes some pretty cool silver ones called INNO. I saw them on an '08 G and it looks really nice.
