Thought maybe it could be a fuse, but after looking, didn't find a fuse associated w/ the A/C. Sounds like I need to take mine into the dealer too.

Anyone else ever have their compressor not turn on? Do you think it's shot & needs to be replaced? I live in MA, so I only use the AC from June-August. Thanks.
Well I just got the call from the dealership...the AC is now fixed (thank God)...though the '06 G35X loaner was nice to drive around in (until the car stalled as I pulled into my street last night & the check engine light came on...luckily it started back up.....WTF!? The loaner is an '06 with 10K miles on it! and now the Service Engine Soon light is on for good....oh well.

Long story short, I needed a new condenser..the other one died...said it must have been a faulty condenser (since my car is only 2 yrs. old w/ 45K miles on it). If it weren't under warranty, it would have cost just over $1,000 to fix. I may just extend my warranty, as I plan on keeping my car for a while.

Yeah good thing it was under warranty. That's the thing with a/c leaks. They will usually happen in the compressor, evaporater or condensor and it's still a pia to find where the leak is.

No kidding.

I really don't think it was a "leak"....it was a faulty condenser that $HIT the bed. 8 AM @ work it worked fine....9 hrs. later, zero...zilch. Don't think that was a leak...I would think a leak would have resulted in a gradual fade of cold air over time.....no?
