New G Owner w/ a Couple of Questions

Hi,

I just took delivery of my new G35X last night. While driving this morning, I noticed a couple of things that I probably should have picked up on last night but in my excitement missed. It is still early here so I have yet to talk to my dealer, but want to hear from other owners.

1. The turn signals lights (front and rear) seem to operate correctly, but there is no dash indicator that blinks correspondingly. I assume this should NOT be the case.

2. I have the Premium package with the dual-zone temp control. Mine seems to go back to the "default" setting of 75 degrees, whenever I turn off and restart the car. Is this normal or is there supposed to be a memory that retains the last climate settings?

My clock is also not working (it is stuck at 8:35, which is about the time I picked up the car, so I didn't notice this either). All of these items would appear to be electrical in nature, so I would imagine they could be related to a fuse or similar.

Thanks in advance,

Ron K.

to me it sounds like you're missing a fuse or two. is your compass working properly? just bring it back to the dealer it wouldn't hurt.

gauge cluster should correspond with turn signals...AC temp. should not reset....and as for the clock....unless you got the special edtion G35X time machine that stops time...it's malfunctioning too...

well...refund would be a bit extreme...but take it back to get it fixed and demand goodies for wasting your time. Ask for free splah guards, turnk mat with emblem...key chain...license plate....something!!! LOL

the dealer should have picked up on all these things before you took delivery if they did a quick test drive, take it back today and have them fix it.

oh and congrats on the new ride!

i had the same exact problems when i got my 06 coupe in june..clock was stuck..my intelligent key wouldnt light up on the dash either when i was close to the car/in it, and the same blinker problem..apparently one of my fuses just needed to be replaced..they do it for free and it shouldnt be a problem...
