Try any electronics store. Make sure your cleaner doesn't leave residue (should say so on the can).

Or better yet, order the CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner.

No, the older sedans have a fan which is run by the motor. This takes a little power away from the engine. The conversion is to add electric fans like the newer ones have.

I went to the auto parts store at lunch and bought a can of this stuff. The guy said they just started carrying it. Will try it very soon as my Stillen airbox is due to be opened. I just cleaned the cone filter and realized I re-installed it without the metal band securing the cone filter to the venturi input.

Me too. Have 66,000 miles on my 03.5. Going to pick up some CRC at lunch time.

I got a Q for you.

How long did that last?
Because it thinks it might be the cleaner itself that was in the filter at that time that was sucked in with air and affected the performance of the engine.

Now if you guys need a cleaner for the filter you can always use COIL CLEANER or they actually do sell filter cleaners in auto stores that you can use to get rid of the oil.

Let us know if the engine performs same as it did right after you cleaned the filter

You mean the electronic contact cleaner sprayed on the filter? It did not touch the filter, in fact I had it removed while cleaning my MAF...
