Ipod Integration on 2003 w/out SAT

To the Experts,

Finally broke down and bought an IPOD Video for the G and couldn't find a definitive answer on a device that I could hardwire my IPOD to the radio and control it with the steering wheel or HU. The PAC AAI-NIS2 seems to only work if the car is SAT ready. Any suggestions or remedies would help me sleep better at night

2003 G35 Sedan BOSE system w/out SAT Button

Thanks

The pa11 nis will work.

It doesn't use SAT button, it uses CD button. Just press the cd button twice and it will switch to the unit.

As long as you get the PA11-NIS and not the NIS2 unit.

The PA11-NIS connects to the cd changer port on the rear. It doesnt affect your CD functionality; its like an auxilary port.

Its not as spiffy as the SAT compatible unit, but it gets the job done.

I could care less if the CD player magically dissappeared, but that option just seems more expensive now. Checked on Crutchfield to order but said it wasn't compatible with the G. Is this just some formality that I should oversee? Thanks for the help bro!

Thanks bro, sounds like we got a winner here... don't need to go through FM or cassete route anymore. Out of curiosity, do you have this installed in a G35 2003 w/no SAT button or know anybody on here who has?

This was easy to do, if you do not have the GPS

Does not have to interfere with anyone. My stereo was NOT SAT ready.
