Factory exhaust tips turning GOLD
WTF, my car is a 05'X and its only got like roughly 4500 miles, all i got is a CF z-tube and pop-charger for performance, i know they have nothing to do with it, but it seems the like the silver/chrome finish is turning into a brass like color, why, and will they cover it under warranty, i'm planning on getting the HKS rear very soon, but non the less, i wanna use the warranty if it applies, THANX!!!

If you had a DG sedan that actually might look good? Why don't you call the dealer and check on the warranty status of the exhaust? You're right, your mods wouldn't have caused this to happen. If the dealer says - hey, not our problem, I'm sure some Tarn-x or some sort of metal polisher would clean them right up. It's either oxidation or dirt - both are easily fixed.

dude that is normal on most exhaust tips. Heat discoloration happens all the time. One way to keep them shiny is by using metal polish like the previous poster said. I can't see the dealer nor Infiniti replacing those under warranty. I know I wouldn't. What's next a new paint job? Lighten up it's just cheap tips on there anyway.
