That GREEN Color!

Just wondering if anyone out there owns the "Emerald Mist" color for the sedans. Honestly, I have seen two of them in SoCal since I got my car 4 months ago. Either that color is extremely rare or extremely unpopular or a little bit of both. I can't believe Infiniti cancelled "Twilight Blue" for '03.5 and not the "Emerald Mist".. Anyone else wish to opine?

Although that shade of green is not the best that Infiniti could have chosen... the fact that it's so rare makes me like it a little bit more each time. The same goes for the Garnet Fire.

What do you mean they cancelled the Twilight Blue? When I bought my car there was a '04 Twilight Blue on the lot, actually considerd that until I saw how dirty it looked next to a lighter color!

Re: That GREEN Color!

I have an Emerald Mist 2003.5 Sedan, and you're right, I haven't seen ANY in the Bay Area sine I purchased mine 3 months ago. When I bought it, I wanted to get an '03 to save $$$, and this was one color the dealer had left. I actually like the color....it has a nice metallic shine to it, although it really shows the dust.

Re: That GREEN Color!

I believe that Twilight Blue was available on the ‘03s, but the ’03.5 were available in Caribbean Blue. For MY’04, they’ve returned to TB.

Is the Caribbean Blue still available? That was a strange color IMO!

Re: That GREEN Color!

I used to have the Green. It was discontinued for 04. I had a dealer tell me that if I traded in the Green (which I didn't do because I totalled the car), it would cost me an extra $1500 due to the general dislike of the color.

Whatever. Green really grew on me and I really liked it.

Re: That GREEN Color!

Apparently, Infiniti briefly cancelled TB for the early '03.5 models, b/c when I went shopping for my car, TB was my first choice, I was told that color was gone. Then (I assume) by popular demand, Infiniti brought back TB for the later '03.5 models, as well as '04. Either that's the story, or I've been duped! darn!

Re: That GREEN Color!

The story is Twilight Blue was discontinued after the initial 2003
release. It was not available as a 2003.5 but was brought back for 2004.
Too bad because mine would be so much more valuable if it was
still discontinued. I love the color.

Or you could've just got the Emerald Mist color and have the rarest of all G35's!
