i have a problem here, i went to change my wheels, because winter is here, and i just got around to taking off my wheels, and putting the stocks back on. so i go to the shop, and i realize that i have no idea where the key is to my wheel locks. how could i take my wheels off, the person at the shop said he could break the wheel locks, but im scared of damaging the wheels. please help!!!
i cant find it, i know its not in the trunk, and i checked everywhere in my house it would have been, i am gonna go to the shop and check in my car again. this really suck
its an after-market lock kit, not an OEM one. i had to leave my car over night at the shop, but i am going there later today to check, thanks for the help so far.
if they break the nut, it wont damage the wheel?

Usually they heat the bolts up an crack the bolts. As long as they know what they are doing you shouldn't have to worry. I had mine done once before.

as long as the tech knows what he's doing, you shouldnt have a problem with getting your wheels scratched. I've take off many many locks of different sizes and shapes, oem and aftermarket, and never had a problem scratching wheels.

Back in the day (1992) when I had my Civic 4DR, I had a lock set where the key pattern got worn down and eventually started to get stripped (it was a poorly designed McGard lock that just wasn't durable - they no longer sell it). I had to have the lock removed, and a performance shop ended chiseling it off. Took the guy all afternoon as he took his time...no damage whatsoever to my 15" chrome MOMO Quasars
(that wheel line used to be so hot...too bad their designs suck now). He only charged me $20 for a few hours of work...but that was over 10 yrs ago (it probably helped that I poured a few thousand $$$ into their shop w/my mods)!
I'm sure the newer methods (extractor/heating) are much safer than chiseling. Good luck!
