Re: Seat Pain - Official Poll

I bought the 6MT style dead pedal and had it installed. It's a little skinner, but it sits up higher and my foot doesn't have to reach for it. Much more comfortable. Go sit in a 6MT in the dealership and feel the pedal. If you like it, they can order you one.

Its pretty comfy to me(when I took my fat wallet out of my back pocket) on non-stop 5 hr drive to Vegas last weekend.

What are you guys referring too, the foot rest pedal on the far left? I hardly ever use that, got that from my Mustang GT, I have to brake with my left foot, and found myself pushing on that if I was using it to rest my foot!

If you check out my 'ride', I posted some pics. I used 1" square aluminum tubing.

Re: Seat Pain - Official Poll

They only replaced a bracket. I'm actually taking it in tomorrow morning for them to look at. The service advisor I normally use is gone, and when I explained what's going on to a different advisor, he just set me up with an appointment to check it out.

I'm 6'4", 220 and I don't have any major problems with the seats. The first time I took it for a long drive, my right leg started to cramp up after awhile. I just drove to San Diego and back from the Bay Area, though, and it was pretty comfortable. Definitely not the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in, but not bad, and certainly not painful.

Re: Seat Pain - Official Poll

BTW, thanks setting up the survey. It looks like about 17% of people still find the seats uncomfortable/painful even after the TSB. Granted, this survey is totally unscientific, but hopfully someone in engineering/quality control will notice and make a change to the seat design.
