After several frustrating conversations with Infiniti Customer Service ( a great new oxymoron right up there with 'military intelligence'), I've decided to take a survey. How many G35 members find the G35 seat uncomfortable? Maybe if enough of us speak out, Infinity will find a real fix for the seats. (The TSB helps, but is only a marginal improvement.)

2003.5 G35 Sedan Desert Platinum/Graphite Premium/Sport/Aero/Nav/Winter

 

Two 27 hour non stop drives and dozens more >100 miles in these seats and it feels great to me. I am 6'4" 250 lbs, I have the sport package and these are great.

remember this is a sports car and rewards proper posture, foot positioning, hand placement and techniques.

I sit up straight in mine (even with my head brushing the ceiling), hands at 9 and 3, feet vertical, never had a problem

The only complaint that I have about the seat comfort is that I think there should have been more adjustability to the lumbar support.

as long as I slide my wallet up in my pocket I don't expirience and pain. I think the seats are pretty comfy.

I agree with the sentiment of so many magazines and publicized reviews I have seen -- the seats are fairly uncomfortable. I end up shifing around a lot to take my weight (185lbs) off of the right side where the movement controls are. I really think it's poorly designed in that area. I have had many other high-end cars (this is by far the least expensive car I have had in a long time), all with sport seats, and all of which were much more comfortable.

I do take my wallet out each time I get in the G, but I also got a big *** too

I have always had a problem with a wallet when in a car, not just the G, every car I've ever owned!

Some chiropractor advertised this: girls should rotate shoulders when carrying their purses because it'll throw off your spine alignment. But, guys should be concerned because driving/riding with your wallet in your back pocket will also throw off your spine alignment. So, give the wallet to your girlfriend/wife to hold, and tell her to rotate shoulders when carrying her purse (with your wallet in it).
Seriously, I'm 5'5 150# and feel ok, but could be better. Maybe it is a SiZe thing, that the seats were made for bigger people.
