Will 235-55 tires fit stock rim?
Will 235-55 tires fit stock rim?
For some reason 235-50 are more expensive than 235-55 and 235-45, all 17 inch. Would it be ok to use 235-55 or 235-45 on stock 17 x 7 rim from 2003.5 6mt sedan? I am running 350z suspension so I'm lower by about 1". Also, anyone running ultrahigh performance all season tires? Any suggestions?
235/55 will put you above the 3% speedo rating you want to stay under. 235/50 would be a better choice. It will be almost at the exact same height as stock. They will fit a 7" wide rim but it will look buldged (over the side of the rim).
235/45 would worse than 235/55.
Even though you are lowered, I don't think you will have a problem clearing the suspension and the fenders with a 235. Should have more than enough clearance.

Dont cheap out.... and dont get 235-55... it will ruin the handling. If you cant get 235-50 on 17" wheels.... then you are better of sticking with the OEM size.... 215-55-17.... my favourite are Yokohama Avid VS4
