disconnecting the battery and stepping on the brake pedal a couple of times works as well. Did it the other day when my friend and I installed a system in his coupe.

You need to have the battery disconnected for several hours to clear the computer. However, it has been suggested that if you disconnect both positive and negative termianls and touch them togeather, the computer gets reset imediatly. I don't know if holding the brake down with the negative terminal disconnected will clear the memory. A simple test would be:
unplug the MAS. Start the car and see the CES
Then do the quick battery reset. If that clears the CES, then it worked. The pedal method does indeed clear the CES light.

I have a loaner today, looks like I'll try the pedal reset and have some fun!!!

It took me five tries but i got it finally. drove it around for a few miles...beat the **** out of it.lol..seems to be shifting faster then norm.

Got it with the first try. Made the loaner much more responsive.
