What can I do to improve handling on an 05X?

Right now my car is stock. Nothing at all done to it. Everything facotry. (Tint doesn't count). What can do to my 05X sedan to improve the handling of it around curves at higher speeds so I don't feel like I'm steering a boat? It doesn't feel like it's on rails anymore...

Thanks!

EDIT: I would also like to improve braking if possible. And I live in NYC where there are monstrous potholes and bad snowy winters if it makes any difference.

VRT has coilovers but I'm not sure if they are out yet.

For brakes, the best way is a big brake kit ($$$) followed by a larger rotor oem caliper kit like racingbrake ($$) with better pads and last go with better pads ($).

Cheap brake upgrade is to find some 05-06 rwd sedan brakes or coupe brakes. Dual caliper with 12.6" rotor front.

I don't even know what to look for. Would you be able to point me in the right direction; where/what to order, maybe even a good place to get it installed (brakes at least)? Also, does the fact that it's a G35X and not a regular G35 make a difference compatibility wise? Thanks!

What about a good set of summer tires? Depending on your climate, keep the all seasons for the winter.

I have a set of 18" wheels I use in the summer months with 245/40 18" Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tires and my X handles pretty darn good. I am not going to lower it because I don't want uneven tire wear.
