1) You have to count both sidewalls -- that is, diameter = wheel size + 2 x sidewall height.
2) The section width and aspect ratio are only approximate.
In truth, this method will get you "close enough," but for better accuracy use pages like this.

I use these little tools to determine tire sizes and diameter

Thanks!
I meant did anybody set up diiferent widht 19' wheels ?
I'm going to do that and still afraid i can get problems with AWD.
What do you think about 225/45 R19x7,5 ET45 front and 245/45 R19x8,5 ET50 rear ?
Seems that the height of the wheels shoud be about the same.
I have G35x 2007

Cool. Thanks. Some guys in Moscow (Russia) are going to setup in March as well.
What size will you take ?
We think about 225/45 R19x7,5 ET45 front and 245/45 R19x8,5 ET50 rear as i mentioned.
If you have any ideas please let me know. You will help alot

Those are way off. The 245/45 is about 17% taller. Plus those offsets and front wheel is really week. If you want to run staggered, I would go with a 19x8.5 +30-35 front and 19x9.5 +40 (i think you can get away with that), and run 225/40/19 front and 255/35/19 rear. Or you can go with a 235/40/19 f and a 265/35/19 r.
