what's sad is the emblem comes in a foam shape cut out of the piece is attaches to with angles from the trunk lid and tailight to get it in the right place. Only a total retard woud ignore all that and put it on the wrong side of the car. I'd change it b/c it seems like an idiot thing to do.
or just delete it altogether. I only know this b/c my G didn't have a G35 badge and I wanted one so I bought mine from Riverside Infiniti and it comes idiot proof (or so I thought) to put it in the right place.

so then plan B was have the aluminum powder coated hyper black chrome (same as other stuff on my car) - so had the trim pulled off & handles removed only to find that there is molder plastic on the back! Can’t go in the PC oven...
plan C was to anodize the parts - which was originally an idea because even the exterior of the belt molding has molder rubber so I already knew it couldn’t be powder coated... I talked with 4-6 shops about anodizing most said can't be done, but a couple said maybe - they wanted test pieces first. In the mean time that car has been sitting for a week while I figure out WTF to do...
I ended up just having it painted. Plan D was my last resort. I love the fact that it is not polished aluminum anymore... nothing on my car is chrome or shinny purposely... it's all shades of grey - thus the car name Grey Ghost (that's why the badging you see above is GG, not G35)... anyway it was a real PITA - but whatever, it's done.
