2003.5 - Need it defined

What month did the G officially become a 2003.5 model?
What tweaks were made?
What do I look for to ensure I get the .5 model?

Re: 2003.5 - Need it defined

It was around October/November of 2002 that they started showing up on dealer lots. Just look at the trunk. If the INFINITI name stretches across a clean trunklid with NO exterior trunk release handle, it's a 2003.5. If the INFINITI name is squashed into a small boxed-in area that does have an external trunk latch, it's a 2003. For other changes, check out the thread Differences between 2003 and 2003.5 models.

You can tell with a quick look...

2003 on the left, 2003.5 on the right.

BTW..these G's belong to builder1 and sedanman respectively. Did a little cut and paste to post the side by side pic.

Now that you posted them side by side, it accentuates the diff btween stock and aftermarket(?) wings.
Builder1's wing is more subtle and understasted. They're both nice and I had one on my Sedan, but builder1's is sweet.
I also like the job you did of posting side by side. I'm fairly new at this computer stuff and haven't done C&P, (yet).

Well, from the amount of time you spend on the board, it sure looks like you have the time to learn.

Also notice the rear under bumper is a darker shade of gray on the 2003.5 model. This (obviously) applies to all of the lower plastic sills. It's quite noticable from a 3/4 view in sunlight.
