Well Im gonna be putting my summer wheels back on and when I went to do it today I pulled out my jack and the car is to low. So Im now in the process of trying to find a new low profile jack. Any suggestions . Im thinking about this one.

Anyone have one or experince with it. Also it doesnt look like it has a pad on the saddle area. Any suggestions on getting one or should I really worrie about it. Anyone have any other jacks. Im not trying to get some POS and have it fall or break while jacking up the car.

If you don't plan on using it much, that will get the job done. As for not having a pad, you can get a hokey puck and groove it so it will fit over the lip where the jack points are on the G.

I got this one a while back but I/we us it alot as we hold alot of the DIY day meets at my house. I've more than gotten my money back from all the use we've gotten out if it.

Also check Costco. The use to have a similar jack (like mine) for around $60 bucks which is a great deal.

After lowering my car only with Z-springs up front & coupe's in the rear, my car is too low for my Sears jack....so I guess you'd say I use the "poor mans" fix to this. Just cut some 2x4's man.....cut one for each side, drive your car up onto the 2x4's and now you've just "jacked" your car 1.5" high (because a 2x4 isn't truly 2" in thickness). That should fix your worries if you don't feel like shelling out $ for another jack.

No, its not Craftsman. Only Sears, Kmart and Orchards carries Craftsman stuff. The Costco is a great buy though. Its not all fully alluminum like the one I have so its on the heavier side but still a great deal and a good product.

I never got one cause I had already gotten mine by the time I found it.

I picked this one up from Canadian Tire. I have a two-level 2 X 8 that I have to drive up on before I can jack up the car because of my very low Gialla sides.

+1 on the 2X4s, very good advice. My floor jack won't work without 'em since I put Eibachs on the car.
