I'll post up some pics soon, but here's my story. I just bought a 03.5 sedan, black on black. I wasn't planning on modding it till after our baby comes, but my buddy bought an 04 with exhaust, intake, and suspension, and has sinced reflashed his ecu and put in a intake spacer. I'm inpatient, and don't hav a ton of cah, so I bought a stainless muffler from ebay, and TIG'd it onto the stock exhaust. Nice tone, a little quicker. Then I built my own intake useing
3" abs plastic, and a K&N cone filter I've had for years. I just made a stainless plate to hold the filter and mount the airflow unit, and connected with the 3" pipe. I had to turn it on the lathe to fit, but it's looks pretty sick, sounds super mean, and cost me $10. Anybody interested in seeing pics?
