Smile 04 g35x Rim & tire options

I'll admit I know nothing about rims.
I did a search on the forum for rim sizes the g35x could take.
My question is, what rims sizes I can fit on my g35x without modifacation?
I dont want to mess with the VDC either.

Thanks guys

17-20 inch wheels

I am running 20x8.5 right now. Without spacer I did not have to rolled the fender. But with the +10 (now 15) spacer in the rear I had to roll.

Hope that answer your question.

only thing about the X you have to be concerned with differently than a regular G is to be sure you don't go with a staggered set up. Stinks if you like that appearance but that will mess with the AWD system and cause big problems of some sort as I recall I just don't remember what happens.

Staggered is running wider wheels and tires in the rear (or bigger lip in the rear)

my GF did this to her X and has no problems. Was pretty cheap too and she gets tons of compliments on this car all the time we like more of a stock but still sweet appearance. These aftermarket version of the Infiniti sports IMO are alot better than the OEM sport wheel.

these wheels have a better off set , polished lip, and hyperblack color

we got them here

u can run staggered with no problem.. many people here have stagered setup on their X. If u have concerns about it with the staggered setup u can pull the awd fuse and run rear wheel drive with no problem.......Search the forum and u will find the more answers to ur question

Thanks a lot for the help though!

I 'll admit I could have searched better. It's just hard finding the right information in a ton of threads.

Guess I'm lazy.

BUT as for removing the awd fuse... Ehh?
I dont wanna do that for just staggerd rims.

The AWD and VSC systems know absolutely nothing about width. All they care about is the tire's rolling circumference. That's why you so often see staggered setups with the rear tires wider, but also lower profile -- that can be chosen to keep the circumference the same.

Not too much credibility in your statement with that error unless it was a typo

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think VSC is the traction system in Lexus cars...

Right you are! Darn, the D and the S are right next to each other on the keyboard. Infiniti does indeed call it VDC.

I'm not going fret over the typo, considering how many posts here spell "you" as "u" and think that plural nouns have apostrophes<G>!
