Sedan Side Moldings
Ive searched and searched on a thread that dealt with removing the side moldings off a sedan pref. an 03sedan but no luck. Has anyone done this? I was told a while back that it cannot be done without minor body work because the SEDAN side moldings are riveted into the door? I know there are a few coupes that take them off easy with some simple dental floss and some goo gone....but I want to know if its that easy with an 03 sedan?

has anyone painted their existing moldings?... They are never the same color as the car (aside from black)... I never really minded because mine is quite a bit darker and with the dark side skirts it kinda flowed - but I had the side skirts body matched and now the molding really sticks out in an odd way... I'm considering having them painted same as sides...
Thoughts?... waste of time? Good idea?...

Tim, you have black so its not noticeable... every other color is definitely noticeable... mine is real noticeable now... I either need to learn to ignore it or paint them. I'll probably end up biting the bullet and removing

I'm going to remove the moldings sometime this year...at least thats the plan. Not because of the color but just to clean up the lines that much more.
Really does suck about the holes underneath. 4 of them to be exact...2 on each door
