what was the build date... The FSM indicates the VIN series as stated above... I've also been told that July began that series, however I have never known anyone to confirm it... the build date is on the tag on driver door jam... if you think about it can you check yours to see...

 

I'll have to look at mine. I always thought it was an 04' but you never know.

My VIN is ...F*M710003 and the build date is 04/04. So the 04.5s started about then apparently.

 

Mine was made exactly 5 months before yours, but mine also fits within that VIN series.

 

so you're saying an 11/03 build date is an 04.5???
