07coupe 6mt. 160mph ( no public high way)

 

My opinion is this thread should be locked and deleted...way too much talk about highly exceeding the speed limit on public roads with innocent bystanders around. You explain to the persons family that you just wanted to see how fast you could go when you lost control and slammed into their family members vehicle. Just plain stupid.

Its been a while since I've read the entire thread - but I don’t recall "too much talk" regarding public roads... many of us made it clear these speeds were on desolate roads with zero traffic and absolutely no pedestrians. Personally, my 140mph was on an isolated road in the middle of the desert with zero cross streets/roads and no other vehicle for miles. The only thing in danger was an endangered desert rat - and f' them, they are why there is no bullet train from So Cal to Vegas.

I've taken the car to 120 on AutoClub Speedway's Oval too... should we close the thread for that

If there was a bunch of recounts of ppl street racing approaching dangerous speeds, I would see your point – I don’t think this thread is about that.

 

i did 140 coming home from a party at 4 am it was one g8 like a mile behind me so i gunned it
