you can pick up the bushings for around $40...but you will need to find someone with a hydraulic press that can push out the old ones and push in the new.

call around if you dont know anyone...

Anybody know how long this TSB is covered under warranty? I have a 2003 model purchased in Dec. 2002, with about 78,000 miles, so I'm guessing I'm not covered, but wanted to check.

A TSB does not extend the warranty. You are unfortunately out of warranty.

I have same problem (05 G35 Coupe) please anyone. I want to know how you replaced the compression rod. I will be changing them soon.
Do I need to remove the cross arm underneath the compression rod (where the rod is mounted), how do I take it out.

Pictures will be very helpful.

Thank You

i had the same problems with the squeaking noise

they told me it was my control arms bushing

they put it on the left and showed me

the wearing down of the bushing

they are trying to charge me 150$ for just the labor

they havent told me the price of the part

they told me to go with a after market cause there harder and wouldnt squeak

so im not sure what to do yet

cause i think the labor price is a bit steap

Some dealers will and some won't from what I've seen.

Yeah, help please. I was just told my compression rod bushings are cracked. 2006 G35x. Any special tools or talents or is this a fairly straightforward job. What/Where exactly is the Comp Rod Bushing? Is it basically the ball joint?

not the ball joint - its the other side with a rubber bushing. They go bad. Just buy some new ones and have them pressed in.
