Does any one know if u have to bypass the memory option in order for the seat to work? I see people talk about bypassing a control module
Deuce3333,

I'm in the same boat right now. I installed the driver's side seat the way that was suggested in this thread, but all i'm hearing is clicking noises.

Did you ever figure out how to fix this?

G35 coupe
Is the wiring interchangeable?

I just got an 03 g35 coupe and I need to change the drivers seat but all I can come across are seats for a G35 coupe 04 and up. And I know that if it's an 04 and up the seat has an additional button that may not work which I'm okay with. My question is if I get a seat from an 04 or up, would plugging it in be the same, or would I have to mess with the wiring to get the seat warmer and everything working?

You'll definitely be messing with the wiring.

Did you download the FSM? It should have the pin layout in there.

Your subject line says sedan seats into a coupe but your message says coupe seats into a sedan. In either case, here are the manuals. Scroll down beloe the "viewing window" and you can "Click here to download a copy."

Is this for driver seat? And does your sedan come with memory seat function? As far as I know the main harness connector should be 12 pin, where do those two connect to your sedan seat originally?
