OMG Help Please

This happened before. my G wouldn't start-the dealer said it was the alarm before but i dont believe that they fixed the main problem.

so here is what happen right before... Im driving on the BLVD saturday night, it was raining.. drove through a puddle about 6inch or more( the car next to me was splashing buckets of water on my car) right after my "service engine light" came on.
took it to autozone . p0455 code..and it was erased. the light came back a few hours later after making a U-turn, parked and went home.

This morning it wouldn't start..everything else work(radio, lights, alarm)

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

aftermarket alarm reccommended?

That code is for the evap system.

http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownership/Common/codes1.htm

But it sounds like something else is up with your car....you don't have a CAI do you?

Since you said you don't have any mods, then you don't have a CAI (Cold Air Intake)

From what I've read, there is a leak somewhere in the EVAP system. Could be from the gas gap...but, I don't think that is your real issue cause your car should still start. I'm guessing there is something going on with your ECU. Take it back to the dealer or a shop.

I changed the gas cap a few days ago .. (got the code before) ..

the dealer towed the car a few minutes ago.. but I havel. the feeling that the wouldnt address the main issue.

does the alarm light blink when the car is unlocked..I never really noticed..

Do you have an aftermarket alarm? If yes, they can cause all sorts of issues with Nissan/Infiniti ECUs.

The excessive water may have flaked out the MAF and wrecked it. A broken MAF will not allow the car to start.

Does the car show any signs of wanting to start (ie lights come on) or is it completely dead. Completely dead means it's a battery/alternator issue.

I don't know but the water sounds like a coincedence to me. The car was probably going to have that problem anyway. I don't think the water caused it. Cars are not that sensitive to water unless they are submerged. I would look at possibly the alarm issue as suggested by others or something else.
