pop charger vs stillen

i have been looking around at intakes upgrades and it seems like the pop charger and the stillen are two most common ones, its there any difference between the two performance wise or is it just price

Search more before starting topics, there are hundreds of threads on intakes.

Neither will give you any performance gains, they are mainly for looks/sound.

personal preference. Neither offers performance increase worth mentioning. It's a sound factor, much like the HKS exhaust (rear). Of course combined with other mods, aftermarket intakes do help somewhat.

I actually took out my pop charger and put the stock air box back in and just kept the Z tube. Nothing beats the stock intake. You can mess up the engine with aftermarket intakes.

....as long as you properly installed the intake, and regularly maintenance it, that statement couldnt be further from the truth.

I said "can" not meaning it always happens but the MAF sensor can get messed up and I know a few people who were sucking alot of dust and other particles into their engine causing problems. It's not worth it IMO. Especially since you'll only get sound.

OMG, another intake thread with comments that are far from the truth and rumors.

This is why we have a search feature.

Neither will hurt your motor unless you over-oil the filter. Both come with filters that are high quality and do their job.

Neither makes much for power ~1-2hp. A K&N, Amsoil or HKS drop in will do the same.
