Need advice..

hey guys i been looking around to purchase 05+ g35 sedans and i need some advice regards to 05 black g35 sedan i found. The car has 24,xxx miles with premium package, and the owner is asking $16555. Everything works flawlessly but the front right fender has been replaced. The car still has factory warranty from infiniti (09 for bumper and 2011 for powertrain) and clean carfax without any blemishes. Do you guys recommend this g35?

I would try to bargain down the price based on the assumption that the car has previously been in an accident (aka replacement of front right fender). Put up a price that you think will work for you and the seller and go from there.

he might have had a simple dent in it and insurance decided to replace it instead of fixing it, i would go for it but use it to your advantage and bring the price down to 5k LOL jk well a little less then he is asking

that is actually an excellent deal. if you were to buy that at a dealership, they would charge at least $20k. so as long as the cost of fixing the bumper is under $3k (which probably is), then I would take it (so long as it has a clean car fax report).

Carfax is public record.

Take high res pics of the body, interior, and under the hood, and I'll give you some feedback on the car.

I didn't take any picture but i vividly recall the different color screw nuts upon opening the hood, which empirically indicates a replacement of the fender. Is there anything i should look for? Another question, the owner said that he has one smart / intelligent fob and a key, how much is it to purchase another smart key and reprogram it?

he an auto broker and the car is a repo. The carfax indicates 1-owner.

ah ha!

well that explains the low price (him being an auto-broker, and the car being a repo).

the only other step I would do would be to call your local infiniti dealership, ask them if you can bring the car in for their mechanic to inspect, and if everything checks out, take it. if not, see if the seller will pay for the repairs or at least split the costs. you ask for their 35-point inspection. i'm not sure how much it costs, so ask them that too.
