Anyone have a set of Z front springs with the correct spring rate (i dont know what my spring rate is) that would fit my G 2005 sedan (im not sure if its non sport suspension or not?). I would like to lower the front of my car about an inch but do not want to damage my shocks/struts (as much as i can help it). Looking for a legit pair of OEM springs. help ?

^ if your struts/shocks are 'Red', than you have sport suspension .... if your struts/shocks are 'Black', than you have non-sport suspension .....
You will not damage your shocks by lowering, your will just make them ware our quicker (no matter what you lower it with) .....
Your best bet is to make a 'WTB:' thread at my350z.com, I found a set for $50 shipped last week .....
hope that helps

What do you guys suggest, i have seen a bunch of posts re lowering the g sedan. Im wondering what would be the better overall choice. Should i go with z springs or should i go with H&R sport springs (keep in mind i am trying to do the least amount of damage to my car as possible aka, not wearing out my shocks/struts as fast and not needing a camber kit) I have the $ and am either going to go with the nismo z springs or the H&R sport springs... Any thoughts??

A lot of people that were in the same situation as you, go with the Z/Coupe combo (front 350z and back G35 Coupe springs) ....... they will lower your car ~1" front and ~0.5" back, and you will not need any camber, just alignment ..... all other lowering springs will lower your car ~1.3" front (or more) and ~0.9"+ rear (or more).
I would recommend camber kit for the front if you go with anything other than the Z/Coupe combo, as you will notice the inside of your tires wear our quicker than the outside ...... BUT, that is just my personal opinion

It's a 03 35 sedan I was looking around what's the point of the grounding kit? And I already got a 3.5 im pretty sure the 03 manuals got it and would also go for the hfc but I've heard it won't pass emissions but it shouldn't matter , ..... I don't think I'm in need of the brace either So other than the hfc , grounding kit what other options would I be left with ?

- UR pulley (you only really need the crank pulley, $180ish new with belts)
- 350z Y-pipe ($60-$100, depending who is selling)
- 350z/g35 Coupe Mid-pipe ($50-$100, depending who is selling)
- If your car is Manual, grounding kit is no use ....... if its Automatic, its a good buy
That's all I can think of for inexpensive power modes. All of those will give you a couple to few HP and they will make your car sound meaner

First question is how much is the most you want to spend? there are tons of more mods, inexpensive mods. what kind of G do you have yr? if you spend at most 500$ you can do a lot. Grounding kit $120, VLSD swap 3.54 gear ratio under $500 depending on the yr of the pumpkin. Also there is $450 HFC (high flow cats) which is before the exhaust? Stillen engine dampner brace $180. Stillen or Megan or MD Y-pipe ranges from 200$ to $435. There is tons of more mods.
