Probably want to work out alignment issues before you get sways. Alignment is more important.

Just had it aligned after tie rods, and ball joints. Or what did you mean by alignemt issues?

When you lower your car your suspension geometry changes completely. You need adjustable control arms, more adjustment for your toe in the rear, new bushings and ball joints if your current ones are old, spacers to push the wheels back out (cuz they sink in when lowered). Lowering your car consists of more than just throwing on springs or coilovers.

OK people I'm putting some of my tax return into the sedan.

It is 100% stock.

Needs brakes, getting some vibrations so I assume the rotors are warped. I'm going to do the 06+ big(ger) brake upgrade with rotors/pads/calipers/lines and change all the fluids.

To start on actual mods I'm thinking:

Revup airbox, z tube, K&N/amsoil/whatever drop in filter
Coupe midpipe, 350z y pipe
G/Z spring combo -- should I worry about shocks or just wait until the stockers die?

Wheels. The stock 17s suck. Whatever I can find a deal on I'll grab, coupe 7 spokes, G37s, M35/45 19s with spacers, Rays 19s, etc. I actually wouldn't mind 18s because tires are so much cheaper.

I don't mind buying stuff preowned as long as its a legit seller. I figure I can get some of my list through the marketplace here, I imagine wheels will be craigslist so I can find local and not pay shipping.

Any other suggestions? Not going crazy with this just making the car more like it should have been from the factory.

you know what happens when you ass-u-me....

They may not be warped but impregnated with pad compound in part of the surface. If you have ever made an "emergency" stop and then kept your foot on the brake, you may have bonded some of the pad to the rotor. Stoptech did a white paper on this.

HOWEVER, if they are worn down much, you may not have enough to resurface them anyway. They don't leave much on them anymore.

Fair enough, but with almost 100K and I'm not sure of maintenance history, I was planning on doing the brakes either way. Might as well do the upgrade.

Does any have any reviews or opinions on spec-d tuning headlights such as this one?

Amazon.com: Infiniti G35 4Dr Glossy Black Halo Projector Headlights+LED Bumper DRL Fog Lamps: Automotive Amazon.com: Infiniti G35 4Dr Glossy Black Halo Projector Headlights+LED Bumper DRL Fog Lamps: Automotive

I'm looking for some new, preferably black, headlights. They seem to have a good lineup but I can't find any reviews on them. Option 2 is to crack open the OEM ones and paint them myself.

I have used EBC "green stuff" (eats rotors)
Hawk HPS (great bite in the warm and dry, scare you to death in the wet and cold)
I went to after market OEM ceramic pads and they work fine as 99% of my driving is street.

their is a huge project i just found out. there is a way to make the g35x awd with out snowmode. like full-time all the time awd. you can get an rb26 gtr transsmision and you would have to get a vq/rb adapterplate the whole build can cost you about 3k but i think it would be worth it.
