im the one the stormtroopa helped put the BC coils on and i didnt like them at first but i wish i had them now since im going aggressive and need the stiff coils but now i have the tein basic as well.. main reason i sold the BC coils after having them on my car for less then 100 miles was that my ol lady hated the ride and having a new born baby not sleeping cause when you hit a little bump you will feel it... the teins are a nice coil set up and not bad for the money also they will drop you car a good amount and me being 3" drop it still rides like oem but a tad stiffer IMO but for now i love them and ill wait till they go bad then get some other ones

but IMO ride around in someone's car and feel the set up .. maybe bc is the one for you or the teins ..

i don't know if ashley will chime in here but we had talked about coils and that he didn't really want them cause of the ride and he went in a ride for the first time and i changed his mind big time LOL

^Yeah. I rode in Chris' car, and it rode at least as smooth as Mine with revised 350z suspension.

I'll very likely be going with the Tien basics whenever I decide to go lower because the ride quality was so good.

i really have no one to ride around with for comparison...i do have a friend with a g coupe with teins...that's the only variable i have available...not really looking for too much stiffness...i would like to keep as much of the oem feel of it as possible...are these the correct ones? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEIN-...Q5fAccessories

wow, that looks great! so at that height, it still feels smooth with the teins? also, how much lower from that point do the coilovers allow, either threads or inches... that seems like the ideal height, definitely leaning toward teins... thanks for the reference pic

Yeah, I was shocked by how well it rode being that low.

I would be buying that setup right now if my driveway didn't absolutely REQUIRE a little ground clearance.

I'm not sure how much lower they'll go, but I'm sure 'snoop will chime in.

Thanks for posting pics Ashley for me. Right now my rears are 24.5" from ground to top of the fender and front a just a little higher due to big 245 tires. Im finishing my stance in a week or two and hopping To lower it more.. I know I have about another inch to drop I think with my coils. Check out my garage to see the rears maxes out without the fronts touched they way they are now.. soon ill be close to 4" front and 3 1/4 - 3 1/2 rear .. also you can search my threads and see a full progression thread of tons of pictures and more deatails
