Hey,

No reply on the last thread I posted on, so ill try again. Fairly high mileage on my G35, planning on swapping a new engine in when needed, anyway that being said im at 238000kms if i were to change JUST the springs and throw on lowering springs, how risky would that be towards the integrity of my suspension? Also I need a new front lower right ball joint, I was told its one piece (the control arm and b joint) is that true?

Thanks in advance,

Ace Boogs

If you replace your springs with lowering springs, expect your stock struts to go quickly and accelerated wear and tear on the rest of your suspension.

Most will tell you you have to replace the knuckle for the ball joint issue but that's BS. Check out this thread, it's relatively simple for a competent mechanic to change out just the BJ. https://g35driver.com/forums/brakes-...er+ball+joints

They are supposed to be really good. I believe ttrank had/has them on his 500+whp sedan.

Bought it for the handling, but the drop is an added benefit. The drop is plenty for me.
