Getting Coupe Sound on a Sedan

I noticed that the coupes' exhaust sounds louder than the sedans'. How can I get my sedan to sound like a coupe? Should I get some coupe exhaust pipes?

You will never get it to sound like the coupe but if you want a deeper and louder go with coupe midpipe and hks axle back.

^ Why a 03/04 muffler? From what i researched the only difference is the hanger and shape, no one really mentioned that the 03/04 sounded better.

03/04 is less restricted and smaller. Size makes a HUGE difference when it comes to exhaust sound.

Closest you are going to get to having that unique Coupe exhaust note is to get a Coupe exhaust, its been done before:

https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...-my-sedan.html

I'm running an HKS muffler, stock 05-06 mid pipe and HR Y-Pipe and I am pleased with how it sounds, lately I've just been wanting it to be a bit louder (probably as a result from hearing all my friends' full catback exhausts). I've been considering HFCs or getting the MD exhaust when they release the dual tip option, but the wife doesn't want he car to be louder than it is now.

Make sense. I just don't see too many bragging about upgrading to a 03/04 muffler.

I'm sure most ppl on here will recommend this mod
HR Y pipe + coupe midpipe + HKS axle back for the best sound

OP: If you want sound like a coupe, put on the coupe muffler and midpipe. Gonna require lots of work though.
