Carbon Fibre trunk lid/bonnet

Carbon Fibre trunk lid/bonnet
Hi guys,
I'm in Australia and I read about some kind of ripoff guy that promised a CF trunk lid, Mastergrade I think it was called. Was it for sedan or coupe?
Anyway, I was interested in it too so I found a company here in Australia that will make whatever you want.
Its a legit company that makes custom CF/FG parts for formula 1, race/rally cars, the Australian Air Force and medical apparatus' for hospitals. One of their clients is Toyota Racing Developments (TRD). In addition, they have robot cnc machining, tool fabrication, component production, autoclave curing, robot automation and Digitisation.
Heres some important information:
* They use pre-preg carbon fibre.
* They have the option of making a cheaper mold that can be used to make roughly 20 pieces, and a more expensive one that is more permanent.
* For pieces like trunk lids and bonnets that have structural ribbing, they make those aswell from CF or Fibre Glass if you want to keep cost down, and they fill in the inner space with foam.
* A 5% discount is available if 5 or more pieces are ordered.
In a few days their production supervisor will get back to me with a quote, which I will in turn post up here.
I don't work for them and I am making no profit from this, HOWEVER, I seek to keep my cost down by splitting up the cost of the mold, so the more people on board, the less it will cost.
I have the sedan, and my idea is to mold a lip spoiler into it so the carbon fibre trunk is in one piece. And for the bonnet, I want some vents put in, but ones that look stylish, no overdone. If the interest is there, we'll need to obviously decide on which vents to have.
At this point I need you guys to let me know who is definitely interested, and whether you need it for the sedan or coupe.
I think I covered all the important things, fire off some questions if you have any, cheers.

It's already in the process of being made. (trunk that is)
Get me a quote for the hood (bonnet) and we'll talk about shipping a bigger order over to the states probably 5 or 6 of them.
Look at the Top Secret vented hood. That's probably the best looking style. Problem here is that the hood is only going to fit either 03/04 cars o 05/06 cars so two molds will have to be made in order to make any sales. SO I doubt this will be worth the time and effort.

Just curious, how are they making them? Are they using pre-preg or wet layup?
Reason I ask is that pre-preg gives a superior product however its more expensive, and the guy here in Australia does the best, but whoever is making the trunk you are talking about may not be.
That thread you referred to was a bit hard to follow with all the 'hella' going on, so who is making the trunk?
Anyone thats interested needs to also tell me what year model they have, and when 5 or more people sign on for a particular year range, then we'll make the parts.

The company making it it the company that supplies this site with about 99% of it's after market kits.
Hikkatadori (kris79 and I ride G) are the ones doing it.
What I think is going to be difficult is convincing the small portion of sedan drivers to pay 4 times what the product is worth in shipping costs from Australia. I already pay crazy amounts and I am just over the border so I don't even want to imagine what a box that size is worth coming from the other side of the world.
The Hikkatadori work is top notch, although I don't know their method of manufacturing their CF pieces I'm sure it is high quality. Besides they are already in the process of designing it.
