I'm no where near the level of "car ****" as some of you folks on here, but I was pretty proud to have an 04 that you could look down both sides of and not find a single ding.

A month or so back my wife pulls into the garage with one of her drunk *** buddies and the dude opens the door and falls out of her car, slamming her door into my rear panel. I looked at him and said, "Dude, what the f*ck?!?" as he stumbled out of the garage and face-planted into his own car breaking off the side mirror and cutting up the bridge of his nose. At that point, I kind of had to laugh a bit bc I was pretty much in awe. It was a complete train wreck.

I'm 30 yrs old and figured I was beyond the point in my life where I'd have to worry about drunk *** friends tearing up my chit. PDR is in my future.

To the OP - sorry that happened and sorry for the mini tangent. Sounds like you'll be able to clean up some rock chips though.

Ouch, sorry to hear that this happened Janik. At least your parents are going to fix it for you and your bumper will look super clean once you get it painted.

That's not bad at all man. I was expecting it to be an air conditioner sized mark. That is livable, at least you don't have to look at it all winter.

It looks worse in person (to me anyways) because the paint spiderweb cracked all around it, and theirs scuffs above and to the left. Pic didnt capture much because i took these (and my teaser pics) with my cell phone.

It always sucks when your car gets scratched, but I would actually be happy if this happened to mine as long as someone else was paying for it. My bumper needs to be repainted, but there are other things I'd like to spend the money on.

On a related note, my fiance's sister's front bumper and fender got smashed up pretty good this weekend when her dad backed his F-150 into it. So it could have been worse.
